Natural Nausea Relief for Cancer Patients: A Game-Changing Solution.

I’ll never forget the days after my dad’s first chemo treatment for lung cancer.

We were totally clueless about what was coming because had got his first treatment in the hospital and the only warning we got was the attending doctor casually mentioning he might “feel a little sick.”

A little sick?

We’re not talking about mild nausea here.

The man woke up violently throwing up. Projectile puking across a king size bed.

I’m talking absolutely awful.

Here’s the deal: Plan for the worst and you’ll actually feel relieved when it’s not as bad as you thought, instead of getting blindsided like we were.

Feeling sick, throwing up, and dealing with a nausea symptoms seems like it just comes with the territory when you’re going through cancer treatment.

And that disgusting taste in your mouth…

  • Metallic
  • Salty
  • Just plain nasty

It’s nearly impossible to get rid of.

Queasy Drops are a drug-free and totally natural way to deal with the nausea that comes with cancer treatments. And because they taste like actual candy with really good flavors, they help with the taste issues at the same time.

They were originally created for pregnant moms dealing with morning sickness, but it turns out Queasy Drops are an amazing weapon against the side effects of cancer treatment (including chemo).

Why? Because this one little hard candy tackles three massive problems that come with cancer.

1. Nausea Relief

Your doctor can prescribe anti-nausea medicine that may or may not work for the upset stomach, and you might as well forget about over-the-counter stuff like Pepto.

This actually helps. Here’s why.

Queasy Drops are really good-tasting hard candies that help with any kind of nausea because they have a nice subtle flavor (not overpowering or crazy intense).

Developed by doctors, healthcare providers, and RNs and made with all natural ingredients… they were created to help pregnant moms. Later on, people discovered they helped cancer patients too.

You just pop one in your mouth and suck on it while it dissolves. That’s it.

They even work for anticipatory nausea, when you’re just sitting there anxious and waiting for it to hit because you know it’s coming. You can pop one in before the nausea starts as a way to ease an upset stomach.

Heads up: Feeling overwhelmed by everything that comes with this disease?

The Cancer Binder Pack will walk you through the quick and easy system we used to organize our medical information.  Step-by-step instructions, printable forms, and monthly calendar pages so you can ALWAYS find what you need when you need it.

And, the best part… it’s 100% FREE.

2. Metallic or Bad Taste Relief

These little suckers pack a seriously powerful punch. They’re natural remedies to fight nausea and help when your taste is completely off, which are both horrible side effects of cancer treatment.

This was a HUGE issue for my dad and seems to be a problem across the board, especially with immunotherapy and chemo treatments.

This awful, metallic taste in your mouth that you literally cannot get rid of. It’s just always there.

We tried candy chews, ginger candies, and peppermint gum. The intensity of the flavors just made it worse. The metallic taste was still there but now we added the intense flavor of peppermint candy or ginger on top of it (which really didn’t help him feel less sick!).

Queasy drops are subtle and not strong at all, and they don’t overpower anything. It’s like a nice easy flavor rolling around your mouth that makes you feel better. They soothe an upset stomach naturally and they work fast.

3. Dry Mouth

Dry mouth sucks. It’s uncomfortable and really hard to deal with. Plus it leaves you open to cuts and sores in your mouth that hurt like hell.

They do make Biotene Dry Mouth Oral Rinse, which does help promote moisture, but it doesn’t last all day and it’s not as effective as these.

Queasy Drops are candy with a good subtle flavor, so they naturally add moisture as soon as you put one in your mouth. They’re not overpowering or intense, and you can keep them in your pocket, your bag, or the car so they’re always available.

They have a bunch of flavors: Cola, Sour Raspberry Ginger, Green Tea and Lemon, Banana, Lemon Honey, and Eucalyptus Honey (raspberry and cola have been voted the best).

Once it’s in your mouth you’ll feel the difference immediately. Moisture all throughout your mouth. That’s one of the major functions of Queasy Drops… they “relieve nausea and promote hydration” so they’ll leave your mouth feeling way better.

4. Motion Sickness

Another issue that can come up with cancer is that you constantly feel nauseated, which becomes a real problem when you’re in motion.

Long rides in a car or on a train (which were our two ways of getting to and from treatment) were a serious problem and kicked up the nausea to a whole new level.

Have you ever been on a train for two hours with the constant stopping and starting when you’re feeling like you’re gonna throw up?

It’s awful. We used to carry around these blue vomit bags everywhere we went because we never knew when we would need them.

Queasy Drops help tremendously with motion sickness because they literally soothe any kind of nausea. They calm down an upset stomach and they ease the bad taste.

What Are They Like

You have a few different options when it comes to tackling a queasy stomach or chemotherapy treatment-induced nausea.

Queasy Drops: Our personal favorite because they come in the form of lozenges making them super easy to carry. You can keep them everywhere… Just throw some in your pocket, your bag, or the car.

They’re small but they pack a powerful punch on nausea WITHOUT layering another intense flavor when your taste is off or your mouth feels metallic. one of the natural ways to fight vomiting.

Queasy Drops have a great but subtle flavor that increases the moisture in your mouth and makes your queasy stomach feel better.

Queasy Pops: The same great taste as the drops but in a lollipop form. They’re easy to carry, work great on nausea, and increase moisture in your mouth.

Plus they’re fun.

When was the last time you enjoyed a good old-fashioned lollipop?

Hint: If you’re a “candy chewer” and you chew the lozenges as soon as you put them in your mouth, you’ll probably get more out of the Queasy Pops!

Queasy Bands: This is an acupuncture wristband that reduces nausea in a natural and drug-free way. Developed by healthcare professionals, it uses pressure points to combat nausea and works in about 5 minutes.

Note: Queasy Bands WILL NOT help with the issues of bad taste and dry mouth but will help with motion sickness.

I would consider this an additional weapon in your arsenal against cancer and nausea.

What Flavors Do They Have

What Flavors Do They Have

These candies come in a bunch of flavors including Cola, Sour Raspberry Ginger, Green Tea and Lemon, Banana, Lemon Honey, Eucalyptus Honey, and more.

Sour Raspberry and Cola (my personal favorite) have been voted the best tasting and seem to be the most liked across the board.

Queasy Drops have a subtle flavor and are not strong or overpowering so it won’t be like adding an intense flavor on top of already having a bad taste in your mouth.

It’s like a nice easy flavor rolling around your mouth that makes you feel better. They soothe an upset stomach naturally and they work fast.

They also come in sugar-free.

More Tips To Combat Chemo Nausea

Ginger: Ginger ale, Ginger Tea, and Gin-Gins Chewy Ginger Candy and fresh ginger root are all proven to help relieve nausea and may help you. Ginger is a natural herb that has been shown to make an impact by reducing nausea in people with cancer.

Stay hydrated: Increase the amount of fluids you’re drinking which helps with reducing nausea. Sports drinks (they have electrolytes), fruit juices, grape juice, peppermint tea or herbal teas, and even clear broth will help you stay hydrated. If you’re having trouble drinking a whole glass, sip liquids frequently which may work better.

Use essential oils: If strong smells are making you nauseous you can try using peppermint aromatherapy or peppermint oil which is one of the best essential oils for reducing nausea.

Skip the citrus juices: They can aggravate an already upset stomach. Clear fluids, chamomile tea or even ice chips are good choices when you need to drink plenty of fluids.

Eat small meals: Try a bland diet (like dry toast or clear soups) can help an upset stomach feel better. Having something small in your stomach can help reduce the feeling of nausea, so eat frequent meals rather than a large meal.

Try relaxation techniques: Deep breathing exercises and progressive muscle relaxation can help calm your body when nausea hits. Taking deep breaths slowly can make a real difference. Also, the effect of lemon inhalation aromatherapy has been shown to reduce nausea in some cancer patients, so it’s worth trying if you’re looking for natural relief.

So the next time you have a queasy stomach, try some candy. It actually works!
